I was just sitting here thinking about the high gas prices and the future. I drive a daily route that somedays consists of 200+ miles round trip by the time I get back home. Its my job and im glad to have one. I have cut,trimmed and am doing everything I can to counter the high gas prices.Im now just looking down the road a bit and was wondering,
what impact would a large Hurricane or two, say a cat 4 or 5 in the Gulf do to the already high prices at the pump?

If you live in an area that is prone to storms or hurricanes, there are several types of security storm shutters available that will help you protect yourself and your home. The past 10 years has seen the most hurricane disasters in recorded history. We have had three category five hurricanes threaten the shores of North America and this decade alone. These deadly monsters happened since the perfect storm of 1992.
Two of those deadly category five hurricanes - were reduced into survivable rainstorms however. This article is about that monumental turning point in the evolution of mankind.
Shortly after hurricane Katrina there was another nightmare on a North American horizon. It was category five hurricane Rita. Rita gained strength as it proceeded up into the Gulf of Mexico. The city of Houston and the entire Gulf area for that matter was on crisis alert. People were scrambling to get out of the city. Fueled by the fears of the recent hurricane Katrina disaster.
The world looked on as North America was staring at another emotional outcry. And it was staring at it dead in the face.

I am planning on moving to Florida, and I am thinking of moving to Wesley Chapel, Florida, or North Port. (North Port might be my highest choice)
But just to know, which part of Florida gets the most hurricane storms?
Also the house I was looking at is built up high on a non-flood zone, so I guess that’s a little safe.
