Hurricane Ike - The aftermath - Galveston Island, TX

    no it does look different. If you lived here you would know the difference. Yes.. so much has been done to help it build back up but SO much is gone too! It is very different still but being open to public and tourists is great… Galveston can will rebuild 100%

    I’m in Galveston right now on vacation and it looks like nothing ever happened. I guess that’ because it’s been about a year, and that they fixed a lot of it. The beach looks good though.
