Is it safe to live in a trailer during a Hurricane ?

or should I say will my trailer make It thru Hurricane Gustav.I live on the westbank of New Orleans in a trailer park.My trailer is pretty big and I am leaving my cats and my bird.Im just wondering will it be safe for them or not.

    If you are in a trailer, you are not in New Orleans. You may be in a surrounding area, Belle Chase, Plaqumines, etc. All those places are under a MANDATORY evacuation. GET OUT!!!! BRING YOUR PETS, (or put them down) It is cruel to abandon an animal.
